Poisoning / Toxic Ingestion
Common Symptoms:
Vomiting, drooling, seizures, lethargy, dilated pupils.
Crucial First-Aid Action Steps:
- 1Do NOT induce vomiting unless explicitly instructed by a vet doctor.
- 2Collect any packaging, plants, or substances the pet might have eaten.
- 3Keep the pet calm and bring them immediately to our clinic.
- 4If the substance is on their skin, wash it off with mild soapy water.
Important Transportation NoticeBe extremely careful when handling an injured pet. Grieving or shocked animals may snap or bite defensively. Wrap them in a thick towel or blanket, securing their head gently while leaving their nose free.
